Lifeguard & Swim Instructors
Winnipeg River Recreation is now accepting applications from qualified persons for the full time Lifeguard/Swim Instructor positions at the Town Dock in Lac du Bonnet for July and August.
Required Qualifications
-Minimum 16 years of age
-Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C Certification or Aquatic Emergency Care
-Current Lifesaving Society National Lifeguard Service Award (NLS)
-Current Swim for Life Instructor
-Lifesaving Instructor (LSI) (optional)
-Clear current Child Abuse Registry
-Clear current Criminal Reference check

Summer Camp Leaders
Winnipeg River Recreation is now accepting applications for Summer Camp Leaders to work during the months of July and August. Hours will be Monday to Friday 35-40 hours per week.
Reporting to the Recreation Director, the successful applicants will be required to:
-Serve as a role model for campers providing a fun, safe, and positive environment;
-Provide supervision and leadership, ensuring the safety and well-being of children participating in the camps;
-Plan and implement the daily camp activities;
-Work cooperatively with other camp staff;
-Communicate effectively with recreation staff, other camp staff and parents and/or guardians;
-Be prepared to work indoors and outdoors;
-Administrative and other duties as assigned
Conditions of employment include the following:
-Clear current Child Abuse Registry Check;
-Clear current Criminal Reference check(18 years+)
-Current CPR/First Aid Certification
-Open to youth between the ages of 16-29 years
